Eatontown, NJ – February 2012 Visitors to this Free Spring Housing Resource Expo will get a free, fast overview of the home buying process as well as information every home owner needs to know. The Spring Housing Resource Expo will be presented from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 in the Student Center (2nd fl) at Monmouth University, located at 400 Cedar Avenue in West Long Branch, NJ 07764. The Expo is presented by the Affordable Housing Alliance (www.housingall.org), a non-profit organization based in Eatontown NJ, and sponsored by Wells Fargo.

Free breakout sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with important tips for home owners and potential home owners.

The Home Owner Session will focus on resources available to families struggling to make their mortgage payments and helping homeowners spot loan modification scams.

The New Home Buyer Session will guide potential home buyers through the steps necessary to purchase a home, provide information on counseling services that can help potential homeowners become mortgage certified, and provide information on savings programs that can help with down payment and closing costs.

Certified foreclosure intervention specialists from the Affordable Housing Alliance will be available throughout the day. Information will be available on assistance programs to help home owners and renters with overdue utility bills and additional housing-related services. Visitors can also talk informally with experts in real estate, mortgage lending, home insurance, home inspection and more housing fields.

Join us on Saturday, March 10 and make 2012 the year you become a home owner, or get help retaining your home and building home equity!

Free continental breakfast, free childcare provided by Kiddie Academy of Eatontown (for children 18 months or older only, please), and raffle prize drawings throughout the day. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for this Free Spring Housing Resource Expo.
