Rental Search Assistance
AHA assists clients in finding affordable rentals once an initial Intake has been conducted and income eligibility has been determined. AHA issues a weekly list of available Monmouth and Ocean County property listings to clients who meet rental requirements. Some of these rental properties are managed by the AHA and we conduct the application process; others are rental properties and you will need to contact the owner or management company directly.
For assistance, please:
- Complete and submit initial online Intake form
- Once you have submitted the Intake Form an AHA Intake Staff person will review the information submitted on your intake and contact you to provide you with viable resource information about affordable housing opportunities within your income affordability range. Please note that most affordable housing programs require households to earn between a minimum of 40% and a maximum of 80% of median income. In order to gain access and view updated weekly apartment listing available in Monmouth & Ocean Counties, you must create and User Id and pass word. Once your intake has been submitted the pass word you created will be activated and sent to the email address you provided.
